Fried Empal Gepuk⁣

Main Material: ⁣
• 250 grams of meat⁣
• 50 grams of grated galangal⁣
• 1 teaspoon ground pepper⁣
• 1 segment of lemongrass⁣
• 2 pieces of lime leaves⁣
• 1 bay leaf⁣
• 1 small brown sugar / according to taste⁣
• 1 tsp salt⁣
• 1 teaspoon ground beef broth⁣
• 100 ml thick coconut milk⁣
• 1 tbsp tamarind solution⁣
• Enough vegetable oil⁣
• Enough water⁣
…………. ⁣
Ground spices: ⁣
• 2 grains of garlic⁣
• 6 shallots⁣
• 3 grains of roasted hazelnut⁣
• 1 tablespoon toasted coriander⁣
• 2 cm Ginger⁣
…………. ⁣
• Cut the meat in the same direction as the fiber (I’m 8 pieces). Boil until tender. Then gepuk2 briefly. Set aside
• Boil enough water. Then add the meat, lemongrass, galangal, duo of leaves and ground spices. Add salt, pepper and broth powder
• Add tamarind solution, brown sugar. Finally, add coconut milk. Cook until the sauce subsides. Taste correction n test. Remove and drain for 15-20 minutes
• Then fry briefly. Remove and sprinkle with fried onions. Serve .⁣
