Shrimp Hakau

Shrimp Hakau 🦐

Material contents :
250 grams of minced shrimp meat
1 tsp oyster sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1sdt fish sauce
Salt, sugar and pepper to taste (according to taste)
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger (optional)
Leather material:
150 grams of Tang mien flour
50 gr of sago flour
2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
250 ml of boiling water
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt

How to make :
1. Mix all filling ingredients evenly, set aside
2. Pour vegetable oil into boiling water, make sure the water is really boiling.
3. Pour mixture of water and oil into a mixture of Tang flour, sago flour, salt and pepper that has been stirred evenly, pour evenly throughout the flour, then stir well. Leave it to warm the nails. When settling, cover the container with a clean dry cloth / napkin so that the surface of the dough does not dry out.
4. Knead the mixture until smooth.
5. Cut the dough into small pieces, roll very thin. Give content and form of wiron hakau.
6. Hakau is ready to be steamed for 10 minutes, not more because the skin of the hakau is easily torn (so it doesn’t stick with a baking sheet)
